Paliokaliva Village :: the location
Paliokaliva Village, stands a kilometre or so out of the popular resort of Tsilivi at Tragaki region, tucked away within an extensive olive grove, and is thus very quietly situated.
The organised sandy beach of Bouka is just 600m away from the houses. A selection of sandy beaches, ideal for children, are within a short drive distance whilst the town of Zakynthos is just a 6km drive away. You can find a supermarket at 100m distance and taverna with local dishes just opposite the village's entrance while a wide selection of restaurants, bars and tourist services can be found in Tsilivi. The snack bar - restaurant "Elea" at Paliokaliva premices offers breakfast, refreshments and light snacks during the day long and dinner.

Tsilivi area and Zakynthos in general have a great variety of things to see and do while you are here. We would be happy to provide you with the chance to explore the full range of opportunities. The climate of Zakynthos is typical Mediterranean. The summers are warm and mainly dry and breezy, with clear cloudless skies. The winters are rather mild. Rains are common in the middle seasons and during the winter. The mean annual temperature is about 18,5° C, the extremes range from a normal low of 1° C in January to a normal high of 38° C in July.
